Join us and be a part of something special! Becoming a member of the Calgary Highland Dancing Association (CHDA) connects you to a vibrant community of dancers and supporters. Members enjoy exclusive benefits, including access to special events and competitions, while helping to promote and preserve Highland Dancing in the Calgary area. CHDA annual memberships are valid from September until June of the following year.

Funding for Provincial Reps
CHDA provincial representatives will be given funding to participate in the Canadian Championships in July at SDCCS.
CHDA Aggregates
These awards are based on a Premier dancer's performance in all CHDA competitions, championships, and premierships in the last calendar year. Premier dancers earn points for their medal placings throughout the year.
Voting Rights
Have a say in CHDA decisions, such as board elections and other organizational matters.
Quarterly Pipe Practices
FREE for all CHDA members!
A pipe practice is an informal setting where dancers can dance with a bag piper and get ready for the real deal of competing!
Monthly Meetings
The Calgary Highland Dancing Association (CHDA) holds monthly meetings on the third Monday of every month to discuss upcoming events, competitions, and initiatives. These meetings are open to members and provide a great opportunity to stay informed, share ideas, and contribute to the growth of the Highland Dancing community.
